"A great place to stay for comfort, Not for beach!" by yan H.

Traveler Rating :

Nice room size and great design allowing every room with the view of the ocean. Great food: Very friendly service! Not a beach property; the beach is not even as good as it boasts; Quite a lot road noise at the lobby and pool level; Ugly cable and wiring if looking over to the ocean from the pool and the restaurant. Only cold water for the in-room jacuzzi-it's top feature- which is disappointing! We only stayed one night on Jan. 25 there on our way from PP Island to Bangkok; A great place to stay if not looking for nice beach as you need to walk out from the hotel down to a public beach that does not look very attractive. Great design of the room with good room size, a good view and privacy; Hotel staff is very friendly; Great food! Some drawbacks: Lots of traffic noise at lower level-lobby, pool and restaurant-not much of problem if your room is higher up though; Views from these levels to the ocean are obstructed by ugly cables and wiring in-between; no hot water in the Jacuzzi which made much expected experience bit disappointing! Shopping Tip : Nearby Surin Plaza is worth of stopping by; high-end shops; The top floor-Silk Restaurant offers superb food-Highly recommended.
