Club Bamboo is a short hop off of Na Nai road and was unaffected by the tsunami. The staff was great and personally communicated with me via email prior to my visit to confirm the bungalow with a late arrival time. The room was very clean. We are about 800 meters away from the beach, according to the speedometer on the Honda motorbike, which is a 10 minute stroll or an easy 3 minute drive by our free shuttle service. The hotel is build on a slope in the foothills, on a rise along the old rubber tree and coconut plantations, formerly known as a Nai Plantation, with a view over Patong and Patong Bay.
